Support the trail by becoming a member of the North Carolina Bartram Trail Society. Membership dues are our most important source of income, and you can help fund the maintenance and improvement of the trail by becoming a member. Annual dues are a modest $20, and as a member you will receive our periodic newsletter. Lifetime memberships are also available for $500.

Trail Guides
We also have available for purchase excellent Trail Guides for both the North Carolina and Georgia Bartram Trail, written by John R. Ray and Malcolm J. Skove, two experienced trail enthusiasts. This Guides provides detailed information about each section of the trail and include point-by-point descriptions of landmarks along the trail, information about campsites, water availability and other important things to know, and driving directions to all trail access points. They also have black and white topographic maps of the trail sections. Guides are $12.00 each, postage and handling included.

T-shirts
Support the trail (and trail maintenance) by purchasing an attractive Bartram Trail t-shirt. We have two beautiful, brand-new designs:
The Fiery Flame Azalea Shirt: This beautiful shirt is available in sage green or sky blue, with the azalea depicted in orange ink and the foliage in green ink. The text on the front of the shirt is a wonderful quotation from William Bartram’s TRAVELS giving his impression when he visited the Wayah Bald area in late May 1775, when the flame azaleas were in full, glorious bloom.
The Bartram Trail Logo Shirt: This shirt is white with thin, dark green neck band and sleeve band. The text, in dark green ink, says “Searching for the trail less traveled? Hike the BT.” It also depicts the new Bartram Trail logo.
All shirts are high-quality, breathable 100% pre-shrunk cotton and are available for $17.00 each, postage and handling included. All proceeds from the sale of shirts go to support the nonprofit North Carolina Bartram Trail Society, which maintains and improves the trail.
